Prologue

Aristotle once said: Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies.

I know from experience that his words came very close to the truth.

My name is Brianna Shields. I’m 1 meter 55 tall, with thick waist-long wavy black hair and almond-shaped light-purple eyes framed by long and thick lashes. And with my slim, yet filled-out body, I’m always referred to as the most beautiful girl people have ever seen.

I fluently speak 14 different languages, am familiar with the ancient languages Greek, Latin and Native American, am capable of every other school subject. And I blink out in every fighting sport. All with all, I’m a straight A student.

On top of that, I’m a vampire.
